These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of our platform, available via mobile app, web app, and integrated into third-party apps. By registering and using AWorld, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms, as well as our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must refrain from using the platform.
AWorld is committed to promoting sustainable behavior through gamification, education, and carbon footprint tracking. By providing personalized action plans and monitoring tools, AWorld helps users reduce their environmental impact. Our goal is to foster a global movement towards sustainability, motivating users to make positive choices and take actionable steps to decrease their carbon emissions.
To use AWorld, you must create an account. By registering, you confirm that the information provided is accurate, complete, and truthful. You also agree to maintain the confidentiality of your access credentials (e.g., temporary access codes) and are responsible for all activities that occur under your account. To create an account on AWorld, you must be at least 16 years old. If you are younger, you can only register with the verified consent of a parent or legal guardian, in compliance with GDPR regulations. The registration process includes an age verification combined with sending an OTP code to your parent's or guardian's email. The code must be entered to complete the registration. Without this step, access to the platform is blocked. AWorld is committed to protecting minors' personal data, limiting the use of your data for educational purposes only, and fostering a safe and responsible environment on the platform.
Upon registration, some users may have received an invitation code that automatically joins them to a specific community within AWorld. This is optional, and users may choose to join or leave communities at any time. AWorld also allows users to explore and join different communities based on their interests, even after initial registration. These communities foster group missions and collective actions toward sustainability.
By accessing AWorld, you confirm your acceptance of these Terms. You agree to use the platform responsibly and in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations. AWorld reserves the right to modify or update these Terms at any time, and your continued use of the platform after changes have been made constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
AWorld is proud to be the Platform of the United Nations' ActNow campaign, the primary global initiative encouraging individual actions to combat climate change. By becoming a user of AWorld, your sustainability efforts contribute directly to the ActNow global action counter, which tracks the collective impact of individual actions worldwide.
Upon registering with AWorld, users are automatically added to the ActNow community, where they can participate in global and community challenges. Users' actions, such as reducing carbon emissions and adopting eco-friendly practices, are logged and contribute to ActNow's broader goal of creating measurable environmental impact.
If a user prefers not to participate in the ActNow community challenges, they may opt out at any time. By opting out, users will no longer appear in community rankings for ActNow challenges, but they will still be able to use other features of AWorld and contribute to sustainability individually.
